How This Works (Think: Milk Man)
Step 1: Email me that you are interested. You will be signed up to receive the Weekly Newsletter and we'll determine your delivery day & drop-off location. Delivery is free and only available within a 3-mile radius of L-S Schools. You may also pick up your order by appointment. See the Home page for this season's Delivery Info.
Step 2: A Newsletter will be emailed each week by Friday evening listing everything available, along with prices and any other important information for the week. The Newsletter is sent via MailChimp, so keep an eye on your junk/spam folders just in case, and be sure to add to your 'Safe Contact' list.
Step 3: You can set up Automatic Delivery (click the link below for details), OR order week-to-week by placing your order any time up to 24 hours before your delivery day. You can change your order any time before your delivery day, just try to give me 24 hours notice. Harvesting in the dark is no fun! See below for instructions on if you miss your deadline.
Step 4: Your produce is delivered to you on your delivery day, at the crack of dawn or earlier, and left at a pre-determined, sheltered spot (like the Milk Man used to do, just without all those clanky bottles). Remember to have someone bring in your order as soon as possible, especially when the temperatures are extreme. I will also pick up your packaging from the previous week (see Packaging).
Step 5: You will be billed monthly via email along with payment instructions.
Step 6: Enjoy! If you miss your deadline, contact me via email or text message. If I can’t fill all or part of your order, I will let you know. I may have enough harvested from the day to fill some or most of your order. I may also be able to include you in a different delivery run or offer pickup if you completely miss your deadline. It never hurts to ask! I would much prefer the produce be on your plates than in my compost pile!
Important--I will always respond to your order or order changes, so that you know I have received it! If you do not hear back from me, I did not get your email or message!
