FAQs
Q. Do I have to wash the containers?
A. No, you do not need to wash them. Just rinse off any bits so it’s not too yucky. Please avoid putting the plastic containers in the dishwasher as the heat can cause the lids to not fit properly. Containers will be washed and sterilized before the next delivery. Plastic bags are not reused.
Q. Do you want the rubber bands back?
A. Yes, unless you want to keep them and use them. Please return the rubber bands rather than throw them in the trash. Any other rubber bands you want to share would also be welcome!
Q. Do you want MY old used plastic containers?
A. Once you are familiar with the types of containers we use and you have any of your own you would like to donate, that would be great! I do not use hard-plastic containers (like clamshells) as they break easily. Clean 'cardboard' pint boxes like you might get at a farmers market are also welcome.
